About the Event
As humans living in a broken world, we are surrounded by all kinds of sufferings. We experience grief and loss, pain and sorrow individually, in our families, churches, schools, neighbourhoods and workplaces. What does God have to say about our sufferings? How are we to walk alongside others who may be going through something that isn't familiar to us? This Flourish Forum hopes to be a place where we can hear from God's Word as a whole and, more specifically, from the Psalms, on the topic of suffering. We will spend some time considering suffering as a whole through the lens of Scripture and then focus in on Grief and Mental Illness in particular. Please join us to be equipped and encouraged by a God who is near in our suffering and shows us how to do the same for our neighbour.
